Mohamad Alfar
Mohamad grew up around tools. His father ran a small carpentry shop, and by sixteen Mohamad was framing walls during summer breaks. He moved to California in 2003, spent the next fourteen years working for two of the largest remodeling firms in the Sacramento region, and learned what he wanted his own company to be — and what he didn't.
In 2017 he opened Alfar Build & Repair out of a small shop in Granite Bay. The whole idea was simple: keep the crew small, take fewer projects, and put the owner on every job site. Seven years later, that is still how it runs.
When he is not on a job, Mohamad coaches his daughter's soccer team in Roseville, hikes the trails around Folsom Lake, and probably owes his wife a date night.
