Workmanship Warranty

Every Alfar Build & Repair project is backed by a written five-year workmanship warranty.

What is covered

Defects in our workmanship — installations that fail because of how we built them, not because of normal wear, misuse, or manufacturer defect.

• Tile that lifts due to improper substrate prep
• Cabinetry that fails at our joints or our install
• Plumbing fittings that leak from our connections
• Drywall texture that cracks at our patch lines
• Decking fastener pulls from our framing

What is not covered

• Damage from misuse, neglect, accident, or natural disaster
• Manufacturer product defects (covered by manufacturer warranty)
• Normal wear, settling, and seasonal movement
• Work modified by another contractor after our completion

Materials warranty

Materials carry their own manufacturer warranty (typically 1–25 years). We register warranties on your behalf where possible and provide documentation at project close-out.
